Student organisations
Student committee
The Student Committee is the students' own body at Amity and plays a significant role in both academic and social life at the institution. The Student Committee consits of class representatives, as well as elected officers.
Each year there are elections to the Student Committee for which any student may stand and we encourage you to do so. Not only does being part of the committee look great on your CV, but it is an opportunity to make a difference and bring in changes to the student experience that you and your fellow students want to see. The Student Committee meets once a month during term-time and elected students are entitled to sit for one academic year before requiring re-election.
Student union
Amity's full-time students are enrolled with the Birkbeck Students' Union and are entitled to join its clubs and societies.
Please refer to Birkbeck Student's Union website for further details, updates, news and events.
